Title: Having trouble with posting images? (read this) Post by: sorasunao on February 18, 2021, 08:35:25 am So it was brought to my attention that some users were having trouble adding pictures in their posts. Now that we've tried figuring out the reason for the problem for couple of days I finally figured it out: Imgur.
For whatever reason linking pictures from there completely makes the forum freeze, posts won't post, trying to preview messages hangs forever etc. The second I tried linking images from another host everything worked lightning fast with no problems so while previously we've recommended using imgur as image host at the moment it's just not working. I don't know if the error is with this forum or something at imgur's end, I think it's likely the latter since nothing here has changed recently. So in the meanwhile (or possibly forever from now on, who knows), please use another picture host, here are few free ones: https://imgbb.com/ http://www.imagetitan.com https://postimages.org/ Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and causes. :shaun: |
